On all investigations, whenever possible main electric circuit breakers are turned off, this reduces the chances of interference!

    INVESTIGATORS PRESENT:

Donna, Laura, Doc, Irene, John, Ed, Kim, Pete

    LOCATION HISTORY:

Sterling Wagner better known as Uncle Wag to many, was also John & Donna's Uncle.

The Wagner property consists of over 500 acres, including a newly renovated barn, tree farm, 10 rental cottages / cabins, and the Wagner home.

At one time, the cottages were rented as fishing cabins. Now they are occupied by full time residents. They were all built by Uncle Wag using the wood from his own trees and the saw mill he operated on his property.

He was quite a man, many neighborhood people believe Uncle Wag is still caring for his trees and keeping his tenants happy and safe.

He was a gentle loving man in life, he was a professor of Horticulture at Syracuse University, Pennsylvania.

His life was dedicated to his teaching profession and his tree farm, where he would plant, cultivate, and finally sell the Christmas trees. People near and far would come to Uncle Wags tree farm for their Christmas trees and a friendly visit with charming Uncle Wag.

During his final years his health deteriorated. Uncle Wag had nurses a round the clock. One of the nurses was also a Spiritual intuitive.

The family was unaware of this when she arrived, but they found out a short while after she was there. She called John and Donna to tell them what was taking place in the house. She described a woman spirit in one of the upstairs bedrooms that had no intentions of leaving any time soon. She heard someone walking around upstairs, objects being moved, and she felt cold spots throughout the house.

She described someone watching her as she cared for Uncle Wag throughout the night. She had a very uneasy feeling and returned only one other time and wasn't able complete the whole shift. She informed her superior that she could not return to the home.

As Uncle Wag's illness progressed his living room had been made into a temporary bedroom for his comfort; he was not able to go upstairs any longer. Wags passed away shortly thereafter; he was 94 years old.

It seems Uncle Wag chooses to stay at his home and still work on his unfinished projects.

One of the residents states that sees Uncle Wag at night in his rocking chair. It is believed a young girl roams the property, she drowned there. We do not have any evidence to substanciate this claim other than that of the nurse and other intuitives that have been there.

John (CHIPS investigator) grew up in the house and always spoke of strange happenings as a very young boy. He mentioned them to the family very infrequently fearing he would be laughed at. He was not sure at that time what to believe, but he was aware of something happening that was not normal. John was always very skeptical. Only in the past 10 years did John choose to search for the answers to many unanswered questions. CHIPS was formed and hence the search for the truth began.

Needless to say, we have access to the home and property any time we choose. Future plans are to renovate the house into a B&B in memory of Uncle Wag.

    PHENOMENON EXPERIENCED

    KITCHEN:

Doc and I (Donna) were in the kitchen. Some of our equipment malfunctioned upon entering the house. We experienced problems with tape recorders, cameras and flash lights, the batteries seemed to be dead. The equipment was used but not without concerns of it working properly.

Batteries are always replaced prior to an investigation as a practice. We did try new batteries as we always have back ups, they also did not work! The EVP recorder kept going on and off. We did have throw away cameras and a digital, so we were able to get photos. We heard what sounded like a female moan / groan about five feet from us. We were unable to get any EVPs at this time. Later we learned, that this was the room where a female family member was found after having commited suicide..

    LIVING ROOM:
John always described the hair on his neck standing on end. The base temperature in the livingroom was 70 degrees. We had moving temperature flucuations of 10 to 15 degrees cooler than rest of room. This is backed with electromagnetic field readings of 4-7 mg. Most of the activity surrounded the rocking chair where Uncle Wag loved to sit, read, and admire the beauty of his tree farm. The temperature changes and EMF readings coincided with some of our other equipment failing. The sound of footsteps can be heard in the livingroom on different occasions, usually in the bedroom where Uncle Wag slept.

    STAIRWAY TO THE BASEMENT:
Laura, one of our investigators felt something touching her face a number of times as she was sitting on the steps while asking if anyone was there (we discounted cob webs as a source).

Laura and I (Donna) sat on the steps quietly, trying to capture EVP's as we asked many questions.
At that point we both felt what we would describe as a gush of wind passing every so often. A 20 degree temperature drop was noted - - no photos, no EVP's.

    BEDROOM 1 UNCLE WAGS ROOM:
Footsteps are usually heard in this room. Objects moving from their original locations have been noted. The nursing staff reported numerous happenings with no explanation. EMF fluctuations were noted on more than one investigation - no photos or EVP's.

    BEDROOM 2:
It is believed the spirit of a woman is very comfortable in this room and never leaves. We did have an elevation in temperature in this room for no apparent reason. Upon entering a second time no temperature change was noted - no photos or EMF spikes. The house had many unexplainable cold spots and sometimes hot spots. Our equipment did malfunction in many other areas of the house.

    STAIRS LEADING TO THE BEDROOMS:
Constant cold spots on the sixth and seventh step for no apparent reasons. EMF spikes and 15 degree drop in temperatures. There is what seems to be an overall presence in the house. It has been felt by other family members and other members of the paranormal community!

    ATTIC:
Unusual sounds were heard by Doc, John and Ed. They were described as a female moan / groan, almost the same voice as in the kitchen earlier that night. No audio / EVP's were collected during this activity. Photos revealed a lot of dust orbs and EMF spikes were 5-6 mg. As we entered the attic a strange heavy feeling permeated the room.

    SUMMARY:

Uncle Wag's home proved to be a very active place and seems to have more than its share of unexplained activity going on. We were not able to capture any EVP's. Some photos reveal light anomalies, many of which could be explained. We did get some that had no explanation. We did experience unexplained and sudden drops in temperatures, sporadic EMF readings, and numerous personal experiences. We tried our best to debunk the personal experiences, but they were all very reliable. We did get a photo that looks like a young girl peeking in the window. Maybe that is the young spirit that is supposed to roam the property. These investigations have been very successful more times than less. We are extremely lucky to have constant access to this house. Note; this investigation has been ongoing for many years, it is very difficult to note dates, times, etc. As we have gone in the house, so many times on a whim. Based on eyewitness accounts, personal experiences, and evidence collected, CHIPS confirms the presence of paranormal activity in the Uncle Wags estate.

Is this carved in stone? Not by any means...

We will try to provide updates as they happen..
